This CD is a strange brew of post-punk noise, electronics, fried country and surprisingly adept melodic pop-rock. Mr. Cloud seems proficient in all genres and cycles through the flotsam and jetsam of rock n’ roll to cobble together unconventional songs that express a broad and unique range of ideas and emotions. This album shifts through some disturbing moods that leave the listener feeling dirty, degraded, disorientated… before delivering up something bouncy, joyful and affirming; sometimes all within the same song. You just might end up with a severe case of Stockholm harry cloud
